Easy to use software to manage your employees' taxable benefits

Many employers provide benefits to their employees such as company cars, medical insurance and accommodation. At the end of each tax year, these benefits have to be submitted to HMRC on statutory forms.

P11D software allows you to complete these submissions with ease. It requires no in-house tax expertise and all automatic calculations are approved by Ernst and Young.

P11D software is available in two different levels, P11D and P11D Professional.

P11D manages complex taxable benefits in line with HMRC regulations. It meets your statutory obligations and removes the need for complicated worksheets. It produces HMRC approved forms (P11D, P11D(b), P9D and P46) without the need to purchase additional stationery.

Batch Processing - update selections of employees' records all at once - saving you time and unnecessary repetitive data processing. 

Customise the Look and Feel - you can change the colours of the desktop's background, text, and icons to suit your personal and business needs.

Microsoft Integration - you can export data from P11D to a variety of Microsoft® programs including Outlook, Word and Excel.

Medical Insurance Groups - if you provide your employees with medical insurance, you can use this feature to set up a variety of policies at employer level.

NI Number Validation - you can be confident that your employees' NI numbers are valid and that your statutory forms will not be rejected on the grounds of incorrect NI numbers.

Company Information - gain a snapshot of your P11D data at any point in time by viewing details of the licence you have purchased. This highlights how much of the program you are currently utilising.

P11D Professional software includes everything from P11D software plus -

Audit Trail - This allows you to track changes made to the database and itemises each time a user logs in and out. In addition, it shows what areas of the P11D Professional program have been accessed, who has accessed that area, and the date and time of each action.

Benefit Templates - if a particular benefit is common to a number of your employees, you can set up a Benefit Template.

Class 1A Drilldowns - you can break down each box into its different component benefit types. Each benefit type can then be broken down into the specific values contributed by each employee, greatly simplifying your year end reconciliations.

Employee Profiles - this allows you to create a set of default characteristics relating to a particular group of employees. You can then apply the profile to this group of employees, saving on processing time

Unlimited Employees - allows you to process an unlimited number of employees, depending upon the licence purchased.

Enhanced Reporting Functionality - the report designer program allows you to customise existing reports to suit your business needs.

Global PSA Benefits - the Global PSA Benefits option allows you to set up details of benefits that you have agreed with your local HM Inspector of Taxes. However this is subject to a PAYE Settlement Agreement. Such benefits need not be returned on the forms P11D or P9D for your employees.

Internet Submissions - the Internet Submissions module allows you to submit your statutory forms to HMRC online, so there's no need to purchase P11D stationery.

  • Microsoft Excel XP or higher (to use Excel Integrated Reporting)

Minimum hardware requirements

  • A PC with a 1GHz processor
  • At least 512MB of RAM on Windows XP, 1GB of RAM on Windows Vista
  • A hard disk with at least 500MB of free space
  • A CD-ROM drive
  • A monitor with 1024x768 resolution and 24-bit colour
  • An Internet connection

Recommended hardware requirements

  • A PC with a 2GHz processor
  • At least 1GB of RAM on Windows XP, 2GB of RAM on Windows Vista
  • A hard disk with at least 500MB of free space
  • A CD-ROM drive
  • A monitor with 1280x1024 resolution and 32-bit colour
  • A broadband Internet connection

Additional requirements for workgroup versions

  • 100Mbps network, 1Gbps recommended
  • Microsoft Windows networking, with TCP/IPv4

 Additional requirements for network versions

  • A network server running 32-bit or 64-bit Windows Server 2003 or Windows Small Business Server 2003, with 2GB of RAM and 500MB of free disk space
  • 100Mbps network, 1Gbps recommended
  • Microsoft Windows networking, with TCP/IPv4

Performance will be improved with higher specification computers.

Please ensure that you have the latest Microsoft Windows service packs and updates installed, including those for the .NET v2 framework. This product is not designed to operate on Windows 95/98/ME/NT/2000.

You'll need an Internet connection (ideally a broadband connection) on the same computer as  this program  in order to access online services and download program updates. If you require program updates on CD, they are available on request at a small charge.

 It is not possible to run multiple copies of this product on a single computer.
